If you love Ryan Goslingand want to own a piece of clothing he’s actually touched, then you’re in luck.
The good-looking actor with the beautiful smile is auctioning off an autographed scorpion jacket from his movie “Drive,” thanks to the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
The SAG Awards Auctions will benefit the SAG Foundation, an organization that funds public children’s literacy programs including BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools) and Storyline Online.
Gosling is one of the many actors lending a helping hand. Unfortunately, his jacket isn’t the original from the film, but it does have his signature and benefits a good cause.
The funds will also go toward providing emergency relief to SAG members in economic distress, video and audio preservation of the creative legacy of SAG members, scholarships for performers and their children and emergency funds for members with catastrophic illnesses and The Actor’s Center.
Many other celebs are also joining in on the charity by donating collectible items from their noteworthy films and television shows. You can bid on a signed “J. Edgar” script by Leonardo DiCaprio and a genuine Oakland A’s baseball hat and “Moneyball” poster autographed by Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill.
Be sure to check out all the items being auctioned off before Feb. 2, when the auction closes.

Yet another award nomination for Ryan! Today he was announced as a contender for the Best Actor award at the Golden Globes for his role in Blue Valentine. Michelle Williams was also nominated for Best Actress, so congratulations to them both! The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be presented Jan. 16, 2011, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, hosted by Ricky Gervais.
This morning, he reacted to the honor by saying, “I am very grateful to the HFPA. I also would like to thank them for acknowledging Michelle Williams for her incredible performance. Without the 12 years of director Derek Cianfrance’s unwavering vision and commitment none of this would have been possible. I share this nomination with both of them.”
